Product reviews for 10" 250-Watt RMS 4Ω Car Audio Subwoofer

I just built a sealed enclosure for three of the 3510-04 subs and installed them in my son's car. They sound awesome. I must say that they are louder than I was expecting them to be. If you want great bass response but don't want to spend a lot of money, you won't be disappointed with the MTX 35 series subwoofers.

The performance of this item is exactly what I have expected and learned to appreciate from past experiences with the MTX Brand for which I am surely a Loyal customer.

Ive had 2 of these subs for about 8 months, and the first 6 or 7 I only had a 550 watt amp hooked up to them and they sounded pretty good, but i thought they had more in them so i upgraded to a 1000 watt amp. After about 2 weeks one had a power cable melt off the push terminal for it, which I fixed myself. Then a week later, the other one did the same. Now they don't quite sound the same as they used to but i've just decided to get a different brand now.

Perfect replacement for the MTX Thunder 4000, fits perfectly and sounds great. Thanks to Crutchfield and Paul at Crutchfield for his awesome support!

Had a old pair of MTX truck box speakers, the woofers were old and falling apart so i called mtx and this is the speaker they recommended, so i order from crutchfield arrived three days later and replaced the old ones with these and let me tell you technology has come along way in 30 years these are great and sound wonderful, plus they fit right in the old boxes.

One of the best things about MTX, is they consistently underrate their products. This sub is " rated " for 250 watts rms and 500 watts peak, but can easily handle 300 watts rms and around 600 watts peak. For those on a tight budget, but still wanting to add great bass to their car audio, I definitely recommend this sub.

Excellent quality subwoofer. I actually used it to replace the factory sub on my home stereo, and it sounds SO MUCH better than the original. I am EXTREMELY happy with my purchase!!!

Fantastic subs. Been rocking them all across the acoustic range. Have them in a box under my back seat of my ram crew cab. The box is about .75 cf. Total. Used about a half pound of fiberfill and have them hooked to an alpine 600w mono class D amp in parallel. It will vibrate your soul.

Great speaker you can really put the power to it and it can handle it.

It sounds great in my CC truck behind the seat in a 2 cubic feet ported box. It doesn't quite match the SQ of a JL but the JL wouldn't fit behind the seat. Overall it sounds good especially for the price. I like the minimalist looks too.

The reviews speak for themselves. A new design that's ready for years of heart pounding thunder. I'm running two of these at 300 watts rms each in a sealed enclosure that has approximately .6 cubes of space per side. In a nutshell...I'm over the top satisfied!!!

I don't normally give 5 stars on anything but this thing rocks! I don't even like MTX normally but the reviews were good so I tried it.
