The THUNDER68 plays all the way down to 48Hz so even in systems that don't have subwoofers, you can get excellent bass response for all kinds of music.

The THUNDER68 uses a polypropylene woofer that is incredibly durable and a 15 degree pivoting tweeter to assist in obtaining the best imaging based on install location. The speakers concave cone design also assists in delivering exceptional imaging especially when speakers are mounted in the doors of a vehicle. This model includes a high temperature 4Ω voice coil and incorporates Spider Plateau Venting to ensure cool air is targeting the voice coil ensuring reliability over time.

    Great speakers
    I put these in my 2013 f150 and they sound great, the factory head unit isn't quite powerful enough to do what I would like them to do but that is nothing crutchfield can't solve. I am really happy with the way these sound and how good the base is for the really low price.

    Happy customer...again.
    I put two sets of these in a Ford Taurus along with a fairly basic head unit all from crutchfield. The speakers are great. For the price point they give a great sound with a decent amount of base. I wouldn't hesitate putting these in another vehicle if I needed to. Over the years I've upgraded my vehicles with products all from crutchfield. I've been a customer since 1996, and won't go anywhere else

    Not a direct fit for the rear doors of an F150, had to drill some new holes. Besides that, the sound is literally quite amazing, bass and highs are clean and clear. Would buy again.
