The TERMINATOR522 is a 5.25"coaxial speaker that is capable of handling up to 35W RMS power and has a 4Ω impedance. The unit includes a durable steel basket, polypropylene cone, and mylar dome tweeter. The polypropylene woofer and mylar tweeter are engineered to reproduce high quality sound for any type of music and being from MTX it is designed to play lower notes than competitive models, so even if you don't have a subwoofer installed, you can still enjoy the low frequencies like bass drums.

The interior motor structure includes spider plateau venting which mechanically targets cool air at the speaker's voice coil to ensure reliability. The included grille is durable and adds a pleasing aesthetic look to any installation.

Speakers bring new Sound Quality to 20 year old truck

Speakers are much better than OE (even when this 20 year old farm truck was new). Installation was mostly trial and error since the bits and pieces included with the speaker kit were to enable installation in various vehicles. After fiddling around with the screws and clip nuts it became apparent that these components were unnecessary for the installation. Mounting in a 2000 Silverado front door, the speaker presses into the plastic bracket that connects to the door. In addition one plastic arm on the speaker bracket has to be cut off to enable installation. Once these nuances were figured out, installation was strait forward.

Great for price

Fantastic result for the price! Have these installed in the sound bar of the 2018 JKU for backfill. Have them powered by an extra amp I have (infinity kapa 5.) Like with many speakers, having them amplified makes them sound immensely better (music is much more robust, clear). Using them for Highs and mids. I have a sub to provide low end.
