BEWARE!!! They hit super HARD!!!!! BUT just be sure to keep the gain on your amp turned DOWN for the first 10-ish hours of playtime on them, and once they’re broken in, they can handle alotttt of power. And they sound stupid good considering the cost! The box is built very very well also. All around good product and super fast shipping

I rewired the speaker with and extra terminal port so I could drive each speaker separately  at 4 OHM since I have stereo out of my double din and the sub and a Planet Audio 1000 came with the car.        The Planet audio amp will deliver 350/channel at 4 ohms - and you do not need to drive them this hard. Not an AMP I would have bought, but configured like it works great.  I like bass, and loud bass if that is the way it's mixed but on a lot of songs it just gives fill to what my 4x 6.5 Kappa II won't do < 40-45 hz.        It's a single enclosure and two channel stereo into a single cabinet only bought me that I had an AMP on the shelf I had on hand I could deliver more power to subs cleanly.         I would not drive these with more than 500-700 watts RMS <%1 THD - they will fold on you.        Good boom for your buck.        They won't go supper low my pair of B460's in my home stereo - but if you don't overdrive them they will punch, kick, and fill out things.        For the price they are hard to beat.        Please take the time to setup your crossovers in your radio with the equalizer set flat and no loudness or boost.  Biggest mistake about not getting "good" sound over a lot of genres of music.  And if your a adventurer google "R.E.W" - hard to learn, you must buy a flat microphone $120 but if you ears don't hear this will help you get the best sound of the components you have to work with.

I bought this set of 12s a few months back.  If you're on a budget these subwoofers are awesome and won't disappoint. They sound great.  Nice deep clean bass that hits the lows that I need and keeps the mirrors shaking without distortion.  Don't run 1000 rms to them! I'm using a 1000 watt Amp that is not even half up no bass boost and it still bangs when turned up. It's all about your setup and tuning.  They are a great starter subwoofer till you're ready to go bigger. Definitely worth the price. I would buy again if I had to.

The sub is great. I I bought this with a 1 channel planet audio 2000 watt max amp and the amp only over heated once. It of course resumed normal functioning once it cooled off. I love my purchase.

I already have a vented box with 2 Skar SDR 10s wired to 1 ohm. A Sundown SFB 1000.1 amp. I have a 2020 mustang ecoboost. So the trunk opening isn’t that big. Limited space. I wanted to go with 2-12s in a vented box. In the 80s I ran Alpine amps & MTX 15 inch terminators. I’m partial to MTX. In switching boxes. My Skar box is wired to 1 ohm. The MTX TNE212DV for me is a great buy. The speakers sound fantastic, but you have to pair it with a proper amplifier. Great look, sound, and value for the price. The Bass is freaking awsome sounding .

I have these hooked up to a skar audio rp-800 amp, and this thing hits. Can feel it in my chest and shakes everything inside the car. Only have had them running for ant a week now and still breaking them    I'm but defiantly the best bang for your buck I think.

I used an mtx 500 watt amp, and it had some decent kick, good for the price. When I switched over to a fosgate prime 750w mono amp, wow it takes the power and sounds great. Whether you want decent bass, or a lot of bass, I recommend  this box.

Great enclosure for price , nice bass output but would be even better with front port versus the side port.  As always crutchfield  did an amazing job with shipping packaging and having a website to navigate . I would say they are definitely worth the money

Nice clean bass, not sure if they really need a power rating of 1000 rms/2000 watt peak. I have a 2000 watt Planet Audio pulse on MTX TNE212DV subs and they get hot quick at high volume, when I can hook one 12 inch American Bass TNT sub up by itself with just a 1200 watt peak and it preformed fine.

Loaded enclosures make it easy to add extra bass. This MTX Terminator Ported box is perfect for my hatchback, and leaves enough room to still have a functional 'trunk'. I powered this with a Cerwin Vega 1000W RMS amplifier at 2 Ohms configuration. It easily tripled the bass from my stock Bose system. Very impressed and the construction seems solid. Would recommend if you want to feel that wonderful bass kick in your chest and not break the bank.

Great affordable sub sounds awesome. Can't speak on longevity but for now I'm loving it. Running with the R2 500W Rockford Fosgate mono amp.

Excellent sub! Took 3 days to break in, before the deep thunderous bass came in. Was mostly hard hitting at first. The speakers are two svc 4 ohms 500 watt rms ones. Box is well built, it fits perfectly  and sounds awesome in my 2017 toyota highlander. Powered by the Pioneer GM-9705!

Very good product sounds great

Delivered in excellent condition and ahead of time. Setup and fluffed the install somewhere, but breaking them in on a home theater setup and they are fantastic. Hardest part of getting the most out of a driver is the enclosure, but MTX seems to have nailed it with this entry level setup. Nice and light. Tight response. Banana clip ready terminals. Score A unless they blow up in the car.

For A beginner Its cheap but for the price its a total steal I hook it up with the Rockford Fosgate Prime R1200x1 and it sounds powerfull totaly recomended from me & my friends

THIS! Not to take anything away from the 8" kicker comp sub in my rear deck which sounds very good when the amp that powers it is properly tuned. It can really move some air! But I wanted heavier bass which was a tall order for only 1 8" sub. I chose this over some other brands because of the box's dimensions, and that they are 2ohm. The amp that powers them is only 250w @ 2ohms but they hit hard!

I bought these dual 12" subs for the back of my 2001 Dodge Durango, and let me tell you, I will always love the mtx pound. When paired with the Kenwood 9106-D 1000 watt rms amp, they are matched perfectly and will rock every bone in your body. I used 4 gage wire and had a pretty easy time hooking the subs to the amp. Absolutely no complaints. Love the way these things sound, as well as their quality. I will always be an mtx costumer
