Good product but it literally was stolen so

Rubber surrounds, low power requirements, and great instructions regarding box volume and installation needs. In the process of building a fibeglass box for my vehicle but I have loved MTX products for years. I used to sell and install MTX at Circuit City. This is the first time I have installed a pair in my own vehicle. I was concerned about the large box volume so I decided to mold the box into the trunk to use more of the space. The subs sound great and you don't have to break the bank on large amps, upgraded electrical systems, large wiring, etc... Save some cash

I've been around the block. Had one from every manufacturer. Lately wanted a cheap setup to get back in Auto sound. Found this open box MTX. Said why not? Sound is good. Had it in a ported box. Price point is beyond sweet for a "big name". Why not give it a shot? It's this or Dual Audio at Walmart soooo. MTX ftw.

We installed this in a sealed box, running 180 watts RMS, in our work van. For the first week, it didn't sound good, at all; but, after some break-in time, to put it mildly, it completely kicks ass. I listen to a lot of 70's rock, my coworker usually listens to rap, and it all sounds amazing.     The sub hits hard and precisely, and sounds generally 'tight'. Absolutely no regrets post break-in. A perfect complement to any system running 20ish RMS numbers off an aftermarket deck, brings the bass, without being too overwhelming.     The sub is hooked up to a little Pioneer  GM-A3702 amp. The deck is a Pioneer, front speaker channels go to a pair of Kenwood tweeters, rear channels go to a pair of 5x7 Kenwoods. It's installed in a 2013 Ford E Series work van, all paid for by the coolest boss ever. We're really impressed with the sub, and will probably be using MTX subs when possible in other company rigs.

Good price they sound good with the rockford p300x1 at 300rms but to be hones they can handle a lot more but it's perfect for our chevy cruse

Got my sub super quick and it sounds great, definitely trustworthy people at crutchfield. I ordered a sub from a different company a few days before crutchfield and it still hasn't came in so I will definitely make my next purchase from crutchfield in the future

I have 2 of these in a ported box  powered by a 2 channel crunch amp and they sound amazing thinking of upgrading my amp to really give them some power. Great sub though

Great quality, sounds great, so worth the price. I was shocked at how good these are.

Muy bonitas pero hasta ahora no me agrada  no se qué pasó que no hay sonidos grave y profundo y tienen un buen amplificador Rockford pinch 400-4.      They are good looking speakers but I don't like the sound. I don't know what happened but there doesn't seem to be much bass even though I'm powering them with a Rockford Punch 400-4.

These are great! They hit well, look good, and are backed by a company that delivered quickly and with great customer service. I original had DVC subs, and these are single, but they sound so good and at a fraction of the price. I'm happy.

Pretty good starter setup to gave

Keeping in mind cost, this is a fantastic value. It's obviously not high end, not the best MTX has to offer. But for my commuter car, it's over the top! Using the MTX 500 watt amp makes this thump hard. I used a vented box and am very happy for both performance and cost.

These are great speakers for their price.

Great product I got 4 12s hooked up in a f250 and it pounds happy with sonic electronics

i have 4 of these in my explorer and i never have to ride with my mom and i blow my girl away and every ride to school is like a earthquake

I have had 4 of these 12s in my 96 buick century and they have never gave up when i pull up ppl are amazed at how hard im pounding i love these subs and i have had them all solo baric to w6s and for the money id buy them again and again AS A MATTER OF FACT I JUST BOUGHT A TAHOE AND IM TRANSFERING THEM WITH NEW BOX SO I MIGHT JUST ****GET**2**MORE**** LOL

I bought these for my 17 year old son, all I can say is the music sure has changed. At least we know when he is coming home from the thump thump. Thanks from me and the nieghbors . Order came on time and complete.

As soon as it got broke in and to it's full potential, it sounds Great! As of right now I got it hooked up by itself and it is clear and not too loud, but not quiet at all!

We bought an MTX box set for my son's truck and he has loved them.  The price was great and the sound was even better.  What a good quality product for the price.  

Subwoofer sounds great good bass and good power

It is a perfect fit. I used this in a old MTX powered sub box that was sold as a home unit so the 100 amp sub probably does not do the speaker justice but it still puts out great low end sound and I am very satisfied with the results.

Yeah I like this subwoofer, I bought another one just in case I want dual. It's really good.
