These are a great upgrade from the factory speakers. They are little low on the treble, but the bass is good and I mounted these in the rear doors, so that's fine. Two of the mounting holes didn't line up for the Jeep Renegade, so I used one top and one bottom hole - good enough. These are very good speakers for the price. Crutchfield's installation guide is excellent.

Great budget friendly speaker. Bought to replace one blown out factory speaker.  This 6x9 easily replaced the factory 6-1/2 speaker. Sounds great.

I installed these speakers in my little Toyota Yaris a week ago and I’m pretty happy so far. These are good sound speakers at a low price. They’re playing from my stock Toyota radio-CD player. Considering that my radio output is only 15-20 watts per channel, they sound pretty good. The speakers are rated at 60 watts per channel, so if I install a small amp, they should sound even better. Even without an amp, they seem to put out good clear sound. I’m not a speaker snob but I do like things to sound clear and strong. I had to turn up the bass and volume more than with the stock speakers. But again, I believe this is because the stock speakers were low wattage. Lastly, I had to buy some plastic adapter rings to fit the Toyota hole pattern on the back shelf because I didn’t want to drill holes.

Much better than the stock door speakers on an old dodge ram.  Very satisfied with the cost per smile

I got these because my factory amp went out. Wired to a two channel amp. They sound great at an affordable price. Camaro owners beware. You pretty much have to take apart the inside of your car to install rear deck speakers. Pain in the rear.

Just as advertised. Everything fit and worked. The hardest part was messing with the OEM Pop Rivets holding the door panel on. I think that the old vehicle, the harder those plastic parts are going to be. I would anticipated needing a good plastic pry-bar and maybe some replacement rivets.

These sound great in my 2019 Highlander. Much cleaner sound than OEM speakers.

Great speakers only issue was mounting screws were not perfectly lines up with my installation.was only able to get 3 of 4 on each speaker

The install was easy, considering the adapter kit. To install two new front speakers for my 2020 RAM it took about 1.5 hours. The overall sound quality is a significant difference over the stock speakers. The overall sound quality has a much deeper tone and allows for great base as well. I listen to a lot of podcasts and I do listen to some music and these speakers are very clear. I listen to a variety of types of music and everything sounds so much better with these new speakers. The best part about this whole process was the Crutchfield website. All I had to do was put in the year, the manufacture, the model, and the package type at this point it gave me a reference of all the available speakers that would fit my model vehicle. I only needed speakers for the front doors and not any speaker would fit. I had to make sure the speaker wasn't too deep and Crutchfield was able to have all that information available so I didn't have to do any additional homework. They did everything for me. Also, the adapter kit was very user-friendly. It was basically a plug-in play. Plug it into the speaker and screw the speaker back to the door. Put the door panel back on, and I was done. It was a very nice worry free process. Also the product shipped when they said it was supposed to so I was able to plan everything accordingly. By the time I placed the order I already set up a day for me to do the install and everything worked as planned, I couldn't be happier with the whole process.

Great upgrade for the price from old worn out factory speakers. Good mids and highs, and great clarity. Not as much bass as the factory ones, but what is there is nice and clear. Overall very happy with the speakers, and the awesome customer service and free installation parts from Crutchfield are the icing on the cake!

Good sound for a small price.

I upgraded my factory speakers to my 2021 Ram 2500 and it sounds great! Good base thumping and loud enough where you don’t need an amp! Very clear with not reverb. Shallow fit for front or rear doors…Highly recommended!

These speakers are awesome I have replaced the stock Infinity speakers in my truck for very simple reasons the cones were water damaged and quit working because of that and I'm very impressed with the sound they deliver way better than I expected I highly recommend these speakers

I bought these speakers to replace my stock speakers in my 04 grand Cherokee. The sound is definitely an upgrade. Only issue but not really is the mounting holes don't line up exactly. You can either open them up with a drill bit or run the screws in on an angle like I did.

Easy installation, great sound, excellent value for money. Would buy again!

Better then what I had

Replaces base 2020 Ram 1500 Big Horn front and rear doors with these. There is definitely an improvement over the stock speakers. I was expecting a little more bass - overall, mids and highs perform well and you're able to turn the equalizer bass setting on the stereo  up all the way without any issues

I bought these because I needed a shallow 6X9 speaker. These worked perfectly and sound great!! They have smaller shallower magnet but still sound great.

I installed these in the front doors of my 2017 Ram 1500. I had Polk speakers in there originally but these MTX speakers blew them out of the water and these were almost half the cost when I got them on sale. They sound amazing and don't distort at all. I listen to metal, rock on METALLICA,  and these speakers can take it all. They fit perfectly and look great. I highly recommend and you won't be disappointed.

Good quality for the price

The sound vs. my stock speakers is night-and-day!  Much, much better with a much wider sound range. So far I have just replaced my front door speakers on my '16 Jeep Renegade. Note: only two of the screw holes on these speakers can line up with the stock holes on the doors at a time. You will need to drill two additional holes if you want to attach all four mounting bolts.  Also, contrary to the Crutchfield instructions, you can leave the alignment tabs in place with these speakers and use the opposite-side screw holes.

They're good. They did what I wanted which was replace the bass I was lacking after I put pioneer 5 ways in the front.The OEM rear speakers had decent bass but couldn't keep up anymore. I put these in and they added the bass I wanted and more.  I like them and the price. Thanks Crutchfield.

I really haven't checked the speakers out yet. I buy some new fiber glass bags for my harley  and the speakers go in the bags there are molds in the lids for the speakers but they work good already hooked them up to the Amp that going in it to ??

Definitely an improvement over the stock front door speakers of a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder S. Less distortion at higher volumes.    When mounting, only 2 of the screw holes line up with the door mount, so I used industrial tape to secure other areas. Otherwise, a simple install.

Had a blown speaker in my 2015 jeep renegade. Another on the way and 2 others someone had already replaced with dual speakers. Sounded like crap. These sound WAY better!!! Big difference in bass! These things actually rattled pictures on the wall in my house from the garage. Even turned almost all the way up there was no distortion! Only been running a couple days so can't give input for longevity. My only thing is the screw holes didn't fully line up with my factory holes. But I still was able to get them installed flush! Definitely happy with my purchase so far!

Installed in front doors 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 with four speaker system and factory radio. Very easy to install using factory brackets and harness adapter Crutchfield included.  Total install time for both front doors was about 30 minutes.  Great sound for economically priced speakers.  Very impressed!

Great quality speaker! Bought a 6x9 set for my 2006 Mini Cooper and they fit perfectly, sound great, and provide decent bass. These were the perfect upgrade to my factory speakers.

Good for factory setups

Huge upgrade from factory system. 2005 Nissan Frontier sounds great in crew cab and just all 4 of the door speakers with MTX provided a much better bass sound.

Replaced a set of Jensen 3690 xs triaxel 3-way speakers that were 23 years old. These MTX speakers performed better in all sound ranges than expected. Perfect addition to aftermarket system in my '96 Ram regular cab.

These are a solid set of speakers delivering a respectable amount of bass in my 20 RAM. As with past applications in other vehicles with 6x9 speakers in the door I had to disable the tweeter. Along with good dash speakers i found it to be way too bright in the high frequency range. Particularly the 8khz to 12khz range. Without heavy equalization you cant tone this down. I typically clip the tweeter wire remedy this. Given the cost of a dedicated woofer this is an easy hack. They fit as expected without issue.         The documentation and provided adapters make the job a fairly easy experience. I am a decades long customer for this reason.

Replaced a more than a decade old Rockford fosgate door speaker on my 2008 FJ Cruiser. This affordable yet high quality speaker added the missing bass. And of course the top notch service by Crutchfield includes all the necessary parts needed on the install (wiring harness and mounting bracket). Super easy install, no modification was needed.

Fit perfectly to replace my factory speakers.  I didn't want to add anything other than factory replacement compatability. They sound good.

Easy install in my 78 Pontiac grand lemans, I did however have to get my own bolts as the screws and clips that came with it were not great. Great bass and sound quality for the price.

These are a solid OEM replacement. Stop short of calling them a massive upgrade. They are definitely better quality materials than OEM. Low frequencies are pretty good. They handle highs surprisingly well (to my ear).  Definitely worth the small price if you want more from your OEM stereo.     I'll be upgrading head unit soon so we'll see how they do there.     Once again, Crutchfield knocked it put of the park on price, shipping time, installation parts and service.

I was looking for a factory replacement or my wife's Jeep Renegade.  I did not plan to add an amp, so I wanted to stick with a low wattage, efficient speaker.  These MTX's fit the bill.  Inexpensive, the right specs, and sound great.  They are  a huge improvement over the factory 6x9's.  Very satisfied.

I have the OEM 6-speakers Alpine setup in my 2018 Charger Daytona.  Its better sound than the no-name on the base speaker you generally get with these cars. Highs and mids do suffer at volume with OEM Alpines.  So I upgraded the front two 3.5" speakers with Infinity's and the rear two 6x9s with these MTX Terminators (I originally put Infinity 6x9s in the rear as well but they were all highs and mids with almost zero bass and I wouldve need to add Subs, so I removed them and replaced with these MTX's).  These are PERFECT for what I personally wanted for my car.  I'm not looking to shake glass or go deaf....but highs and mids are now perfect in conjunction with a stronger "factory bass feel" out of these vs the OEM Alpine 6x9s.  Easy to install - although the MTX holes don't line up perfectly and I could only use 2 OEM screws to install (hence a star removal), however, I backed the speakers with foam (doesn't come in the packaged) and we're all good.

Received speakers in well packed box.     Speaker  wiring adapters worked great.     Speakers fit but you really have to make sure you have it straight to get it screwed down correctly.     Sound is great with my Infinity sound system.

Replaced my front speakers in 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 Pickup Quad Cab, with no drilling.    Other reviews say that the holes didn't line up, THAT IS NOT TRUE.    Just follow Crutchfield's custom installation instructions.       Make sure to " Pry off factory spacer/bracket from speaker and reinstall in speaker opening.  Note: The spacer/    bracket is necessary in order for the new speaker to fit properly. "    Also, put in all screws in a little at a time, the line up is tight, but works fine.  Kind of like replacing lug nuts on a tire.

Definitely not a plug and play option without modifications,  however if you have a Dremel tool and some butyl rope you can seal the speakers up pretty good using the factory lexus Sc 430 baffle and get decent sound out of these. Considering that the price for the pair is lower than 5x's the cost of a single old stock  Mark Levinson 6x9 replacement,  the extra time modifying these to fit was worth it to me.

Upgraded all 4 6x9 replacing the base system. Clearer, slightly more bass, not much volume increase over stock. I would say its roughly a 20%, subjective of course, increase in sound performance. No distortion maxed out. I imagine would perform better with an AMP, but if that is your plan get more expensive speakers.

I  bought these speaker for my front doors.  I wanted to fill out the sound of the car stereo with a mid-range sound that also had a hint of low end base .  These speakers are very good speakers, well built, and they have a clear mid and low range sound. I couldn't be happier with the speaker. They also came with the correct fitting needed to fit them into the car (toyota camry 2006)

Love these MTX 6 x 9's! They sound great in my 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 Custom. Just  with the stock stereo!

Purchased these to replace stock rear speakers that had stopped functioning. These speakers were significantly heavier than the stock speakers, something that I took as a good sign, and they appear to be reasonably well-made. They sound really good, to the point that I'm considering replacing the two front stock speakers because now the sound difference between these and the remaining stock speakers is so noticeable. I'm certain that there are better sounding 6x9s, but these work great for a budget stock replacement on my son's daily driver. I would highly recommend for that purpose. Installation on my vehicle was a pain (not the speakers' fault) so I hope they hold up as well as they look and sound.

I replaced the aged factory speakers (cracked surround, fractured cone) and the sound quality was immediately improved. TBH the factory speakers in the Toyota were pretty good, but time (almost 20 years) got to them.         My decision to buy from Crutchfield was swayed by the fact that the install kit (adapter ring and wires, both are separate SKUs) were complementary with the purchase of speakers. That was a real time saver. The only downsides  for the entire order were: (1) the mounting holes for the adapter ring did not align with the mounting holes of the the speaker, but I managed to get them put together with a little persuasion and (2) the spade terminals on the Toyota speaker wire harness were not easy to press onto the speaker and didn't give the satisfying click I expect from this type of terminal. I felt like I was on the verge of bending the the terminal over on the speaker when I tried to plug it in. Not sure if that was a speaker or harness issue.          Also, the wires that come in the MTX box are only about 3" or 4" long (just long enough to splice into existing speaker wire). I didn't need the extra wire, but you may need to buy more, depending on your application.

Replacment for my factory speakers.

I bought these to replace the original, cheap paper 6x9s in my 99 buick.  I have to say I'm just STUNNED by the sound quality.  These are just LEAGUES above factory 6x9s in every way.  The bass sounds great but mids and highs sound great as well.  I'm still using the buick original head unit which includes an awesome equalizer for tuning, which may make the difference, but I think surely they must sound even better with an aftermarket head unit.  I do experience distortion whenever I connect my phone via fm tuner and crank the volume on my phone to max volume, but I think that's likely a result of my setup.  As I said, these things are a STUNNING replacement to factory 6x9s.  I think if I had any aftermarket head unit they would sound even better! but I'm please as punch with factory replacement.  They're perfect.  And the price is INCREDIBLE for the audio quality.  I'm so happy I bought these!

These 6x9's dropped right in to my front doors of my Nissan Xterra. No cutting, no mess, plus the adapter cables made installation a breeze. WAY better than the stock speakers. These are 4 ohm speakers. The stock head unit was a 2 ohm, so I changed that too, as well as the rear door speakers. Crutchfield made that easy too!

The speakers are great. But the site stated they would fit. They did, but only after modifying the speaker wholes to fit the bracket on an Lexus SC430.

For the price, these speakers are a  huge upgrade over the old stock rear speakers in my 2000 Xterra. While I was expecting an improvement these speakers exceeded my expectations by far! Only minor redrilling was necessary.  Good job MTX!

2020 Ram 1500  Better sound quality than the stock speakers.Very satisfied.

Major improvement over stock in my 06 Ram Megacab with 7 speakers. These i used in the front doors and they produce decent bass over stock with the stock head unit.

These were a big improvement over the stock Ram speakers. I put 4 of the 6x9 speakers in and they are louder and more dynamic than the stock speakers. Using an aftermarket head unit with a little more power helped to bring some bigger sound into the cab. Easy to put in, mine requires one hole to be drilled per speaker as only 3 of the 4 screws lined up perfectly. I also put some sound deadening material in and around the speaker holes. For the cost you couldn't ask for more

Louder then factory speakers and they work very well. Definitely an upgrade. Would highly recommend, just because they are cheaper  doesn't mean they  hold back on quality

Got these to put in my son's 2004 Ram 1500 after upgrading the head unit. They have a nice bit of punch and no noticeable distortion at higher volumes. Overall a nice upgrade at a budget price.

The speakers sound really good so I'm glad about that, my one question is it comes with about 3" inches of wire on the connectors that attach to the speaker. After taking everything apart  I discovered this and had to drive home for speaker wire to add as it was way to short to reach harness,  is there any reason you cannot just add additional wire to these connectors? It would have saved me about 30 minutes! One star deduction for being so cheap! Will be doing the rear speakers soon after seeing the stock ones  "REAL CHEAPO"    I'll bring my speaker wire with me just in case. I'll get these again.

The speakers worked perfectly and arrived very fast.  The car specific details were very helpful but could have been a bit more detailed.      I needed to elongate the speakers mounting holes because they did not line up with the cars mounting holes, this was not difficult, but I would have liked to have known this beforehand.

I have nothing bad whatsoever to say about these. Granted.. almost any aftermarket speaker sounds better than stock, these really sound amazing. My girlfriend's driver side door speaker blew in her jeep renegade, and the factory replacement was going to $20+install (resulting in nearly $200), i opted to get 4 of these for far less and install them. No other upgrades. No replacement stereo, no amp, just these on the stock system. Crutchfield paired the correct connectors/adapters and within maybe 45minutes, they were installed. She is amazed and previously wanted a small subwoofer, but these sound so good, she is just totally happy with them as they are. I wish i could put some in my suburu.

Definitely a nice upgrade over stock I wish I would have replaced them when I first bought the truck.

Overall a good quality sound for the price. Not the best not the worst. 3 stars because it's just good and not great. However I'll give it 4 because I love the design and how tough the speaker is.

I originally swapped the factory 6x9s in the rear door of the my 2017 Jeep Renegade with Rockford Fosgate 5.25 inch.  Could not hear them over the kickers in the front.  Crutchfield helped by telling me that the RFs need better power than a factory head unit could supply.  Plus, I should have put the biggest speaker that would fit in the opening.  I can hear them now!  Much more bass from the rear to round out the sound in the cabin.  I used 1/4 inch foam insulation around them prior to attaching, but could only get three of four screw holes to line up.  I did not remove the plastic tabs that the Master sheet recommends - it would not have mattered if I did.

Direct replacement for my front door 06 Dodge Ram 1500 just swapped the Mount plate from the old speaker and clipped it onto these and they sound great they even came with the wire plug adapter count be happier. Arrived in 2 days which is unheard of for other companies.

Replacements for my stock subwoofers, so cannot give a total review on the full range of sound. That being said they do provide decent bass. Great for the price.

2016 Dodge Grand Caravan, front door speaker replacement. The speakers sound really good for the price range. It's a great value, and they have much better lows than the wimpy factory excuses for speakers.        My only ding against them is the mounting holes weren't in the same locations as the factory speaker. (Perhaps Dodge does this to screw with people upgrading with other-than OEM speakers?) I had to spend much time enlarging the holes and trimming the plastic ring so the mounting screws could pass through the holes into the mounting nuts. Note: if you undertake this you must be *very* careful not to gouge the rubber suspension ring or speaker cone with your file and knife.        Speaker with the wires sticking out shows the results after necessary modification.

Speakers sound amazing! Crystal clear sound, highs, lows, mids.  Super easy instal of the speakers themselves, the door panel removal was another issue. The one fault is that the screw holes don't line up so I was only able to get 3 screws in, but the speaker itself fits fine. Otherwise I'm super satisfied with them.

These replaced my factory door speakers in a Camry. Crisp and clear, same power as original. Decent buy for replacement. Can't get to ear drum piercing level though cause it becomes distorted when super loud-as would be expected.

Speakers are great and sound much better than my stock ones but didn't quite fit. Mounting holes don't fully line up on a jeep renegade but they do technically fit.

Wow these things sound great. You can crank the volume without any distortion. Perfect fit on my 2006 Nissan Pathfinder too. Had both fronts installed in about 40 mins.

This is The One...      With a background as a Sound Engineer i replaced my rear door speakers with these mid/bass 6x9s. I have 3 ways in the front doors, and a 8" Bazooka for mid subs on the rear floor, with the stock Non Alpine head. (15wx4)    What a vast improvement these 6x9s make. Clean bass punch and low mids. Kick drum sounds and feels like its in the truck.. They hit as hard as the Bazooka.. Which i can and do turn off depending on bass heavy tunes.     It takes alot to impress me, but the clarity and rich sound of these speakers will make you smile every mile.    Hey, i say for this price with plug and play, just do it.....        These speakers kick butt.

Sound great. Clear and detailed sound. A lot better than the stock speakers in my Camry. Running off a Kenwood Excelon 22 watt RMS x 4 deck and these speakers go very loud with no distortion.

Great sound! Drop in fit with foam spacer in the front doors of my 2008 Dodge Charger. Better than expected highs, lows surpassed my expectations.

At this price point they are excellent speakers. I installed these on a 2006 Dodge Ram (front doors) to replace the blown factory speakers. They are definitely an upgrade to the OEM standard (non infinity) system. I The best part is Crutchfield threw in free Metra Adapters.

Are these the best MTX? For the money. I was after a better than stock replacement. These were it. They sound NIGHT AND DAY different than the paper stock, busted, 6x9 that came in the car. Installation was simple, once I had gutted the car. (I have a Gen5 Camaro and you have to gut it, to put in the rear speakers.  Let me tell you about the best part, the wiring connector kit FITS this speaker, Camaro has a wiring connector and CRUTCHFIELD has it, prebuilt and worth it.

My 2016 Subaru Outback base factory speakers are not bad, but lacked the lower and higher frequency response. These MTX speakers were the right fit, with Mounting Brackets and Wiring Harnesses (include free with order) with original radio, sounds much better, with nicely tuned bass and crisp highs.

They sound great. Crutchfield's instructions (combined with a little YouTube University) made the install pretty easy.         I'm not enough of an audiophile to describe the details. OEM speakers blew out, and I got these as a replacement. Definitely sound good.

Decent sound for front door speakers.  Just wishing they supported a little more bass.

These fit in the 6X9 cutout in the rear deck of my 2020 Dodge Charger but the mounting screws do not line up with the existing holes, I got 2 bolts, Dodge has metric bolts instead of screws, in the speaker with the factory holes. I removed the speakers and enlarged the holes in these speakers with a 3/8 bit and they still do not match. I have a bad rattle now that the speakers are not mounted properly and will have to take everything apart for a third time. I will be replacing these with something that has the correct mounting screw hole locations. The original Alpine speakers have holes that are about 6 5/8th inches for length and 4 5/8th inches for width center to center the best I can tell with a slightly oblong hole.The sound at low volume, before the rattle, isn't bad for an inexpensive set of speakers.

Much more detail in these speakers than the OEM Toyotas they replaced. Very pleased with them especially for the price. It was a very quick process to install them with the parts Crutchfield provides to install them. Pain free install, very low price and excellent sound, what more can you ask for?

2004 Ram 2500 with factory Infinity speakers    Speakers sound good but don't deliver the bass I was expecting from MTX. Be sure to remove factory spacers from old speakers and install on new speakers to ensure a good fit in the hole. I was able to use factory screws to hold them in even though the holes don't line up perfectly.

A good upgrade, they scream if you want them to but don't expect heavy bass. I bought them for highs and mids and they were pretty good. Also real easy to install.

These speakers sound great in my Ram 2500 front doors. So much better than the cheap stock units, and they are a very good price.

Nice speakers for price.  Have always been a fan of MTX probably cause my first subs all those years back were MTX and they lasted forever.   These sound good at normal levels kind of lose bass as you turn it up.

Look, I really wasn't expecting much from these. Granted I went with them because MTX Terminators have a good rep for being quality value. I installed these as mid bass speakers to replace the factory ones that blew. Those things sucked. These.... once they are broken in, they HIT and HIT hard. They sound very nice. Clean and crisp bass. They absolutely add an element that was lacking from the original ones. The quality completely out weighs the money spent. Like I said , I didn't expect much but I am pleased. I'd definitely recommend these is you are looking for a quality yet cheaper option to the big names. Enjoy and Cheers!

I installed these in the rear deck of my 2012 Toyota Camry. I still have the stock head unit pushing the Terminators. . Even with the head unit these sounds good especially for the price. I could imagine how good they would sound if an amp was pushing them. So overall I like these speakers and thinking about putting them in my front door panels. Those or the 6.5 inch speakers from MTX.

I went for price on these in my '05 Tacoma. They're noticeably better than the OEM speakers. They're not great, but one should not expect great at this price point. I don't think any car is worth great speakers--I'm too busy driving to listen critically. But these seem fine: bass has a lot more punch than the OEMs. Sound is now a bit resonant and boomy, but I'm slowly getting that adjusted out with the EQ. (And it's hard to know if the low end resonance is the speaker or the truck door or the truck cab.)

I've always looked at name brands like JBL, Kenwood, Pioneers, etc.  Never thought these speakers would deliver such a quality sound for the price.  Love them so far.

Excellent speaker, easy installation.

Replaced worn out front door speakers in 2003 Ram 2500 quad cab w/ infinity system running a Kenwood head unit through factory amp. They sound very good considering they're only producing mids and bass since the truck has tweeters and a crossover from factory. They didn't exactly fit the door opening, the basket is a bit too large. Ran the screws in in a crisscross pattern like lug nuts until the basket was tight against the door frame and called it good enough. It bent the speaker frame at each screw point a bit but the speaker was tight. Put everything back together and tested it. No rattles. Set deck eq to flat, put loudness to high and bassboost on level 1 and tested with Royal Blood, Thy Art is Murder and Childish Gambino and all sounded good. Was going to give 4 stars because they don't technically fit but I'm very happy with the sound results, especially for the money and it's not the speakers fault the door opening is too tight, I suppose. I've seen a few other Ram owners complain on speaker fitment. As usual, fantastic job on Crutchfield service.

very nice upgrade from the stock speakers glad i chose the 2-way speakers for my system not a huge treble person and with these it all evens out good for me!        think adding a small amp later will help these shine even more

Sounds good

Good sounding speakers, especially at this price point. mids and highs are very clear and not too sharp on the ears which is very nice. Mounting depth was decent and front baffle clearance is great (no massive tweeters sticking out) My only complaint is that these speakers seem to be lacking on bass response. Running them with sufficient external amplifier power and HPF defeated. Even tried packing the 6x9  stock "enclosure" with polyfill. Helped a little but case in point, you will definitely want a subwoofer system to pick up where these leave off in terms of bass.

Good sound for the money, but the mounting 6x9 spearker holes on both speakers did not line up correctly with the car's, I was able mount them using three of four screws each but with a little difficulty; otherwise, decent sounding.

Great sound, quick shipping and easy installation

Installed these in my son's 2006 Ram 1500 along with a Kenwood KMM-BT228U head unit (he didn't want anything fancy, just music). Much better sound than the stock we replaced. The stereo we put in only pushes the speakers about a 1/3 of what they're rated for so they are going to naturally be under rated as far as the full potential but the sound is still far better then it was. He's extremely happy with these.

Good value for the lowest cost 6x9 on the site.  No significant issue with the sound over the stock speakers they replaced.  These are 4 ohm speakers.  The one issue, often mentioned, is they don't fit the specified Toyota mounting adapter in more than two holes.

I bought these speakers for the front doors of my 2019 ram truck. They fit in with no issues. I was just trying to put in a better speaker than the stock one. To my surprise these speakers sound pretty darn good. I cranked up the volume and there was no break up. The bass wasn't bad at all.  They don't cost much but they sound great to my ear. I highly recommend these speakers.

These speakers seem a little fragile in installation. They feel cheaply made but they sound good and they're pretty inexpensive. They have the same composition as my OEM speakers but these sound better. When I saw them and had them in my hands, I felt a little foolish because the only difference in appearance from my original speakers and these are that these are red which cannot be seen from inside the car door panels. Once I got them installed and tested them out, I could hear the difference. I give them 4 of 5 stars.

The speakers are just great !  But the big story here is the service and professionalism of Crutchfield !!   With the purchase of the new speakers Crutchfield threw in new speaker connection wires and detailed installation instructions details at no additional charge.  The extras sure made the installation easy.  I will turn the Crutchfield for all my  electronic needs.

Listen, there has been one song I've played that can define a good speaker or not. White Walls by Macklemore is super bass heavy while also has some pretty high highs. These running on the stock deck more than handled that song. For the price I paid and the detailed instructions I got from Crutchfield, I will be coming back for future purchases.... The rear deck of the car does sound a little off with these new speakers installed....

These sound good and the inclusion of the electrical adapters from the OEM connector to the speaker spade connectors were great and much appreciated as part of the purchase.  The fit my  2008 Ram 2500, although they were a really tight fit, but still worked!

So far they have handled 75 watts RMS from a beastly Kenwood amp.Using them in front doors of a 2012 ram crewcab

These sound much better than the oem speakers, even using the oem head unit. Good fit in a 98 Ram single cab, screws holes are tight but no drilling needed.

Night and day for old paper factory speakers

Good speaker for the price. I used them in the doors of my 2003 Camry with the JBL premium 6 speaker system, so they are crossed over as just the bass and some midrange, but they sound great with in combination with my OEM dash speakers.

These speakers sound great running off my Ram stock head unit. Installed them in the front doors with Kicker 3ways in the back doors and Kicker 2way 3.5"s in the dash. great all around sound. So much better than stock.

Good sounding speakers for the price. only problem I had was the originals had 4 wires to each speaker and there were no adapter connectors available. Had to wire in and splice to the main speaker wires. Not much information out there for the 4 wire setup.

Good reasonably priced speakers. I had to replace the factory speakers in a 95 Dodge ram truck,fit with no issues and sounds much better than the original speakers

Clarity, bass response...for a 6x9 its unreal!! They don't seem to matter how much power you send em either and with me being a hiphop head...thats IMPORTANT!!

I ordered these along with MTX Terminator 5's in the back, couldn't ask for a better sound, much more clear than stock speakers, and can listen to my music with the windows down, I paired this with a Rockford Fosgate P300-10 and a JVC Bluetooth headunit and for the price I couldn't ask for a better setup.
