Got these to match the front component set. They are good speaker. Only thing is Metra bracket fits great but you need to make your own holes because you need to rotate the speaker to make it fit on the 02 4Runner.

Good overall speaker. Had to print some custom speaker brackets to fit.

Honestly! If you're replacing the speakers for causal listening then these speakers will do the job! BUT! If you are looking to really upgrade your sound, then SPEND THE EXTRA $50-$100 on another set of high quality speakers! I'm satisfied with my purchase!

I recently upgraded the worn out factory speakers in my jeep, and I was amazed at the difference in sound quality! These speakers produce clean and solid sounding mid-range bass with crisp and clear highs for the vocals and strings. Their performance seems to be a great value at this price point.

Easy install. Glad Crutchfield recommended everything I needed. These sound great for the money. Definitely an upgrade over the oem speakers. Had a general question so I called Crutchfield and spoke with someone incredibly knowledgeable. I was impressed. Definitely will do all my car stereo business with them in the future.

The speaker sounds really good. There was no modifications to make that speaker fit in my truck. I had the right, mounting bracket and wire, harness, and everything fit like a glove.

I got these for my 97 jeep wrangler. Definitely is a great Improvement from the old beat factory equipment.  They exceeded my expectations.

Sound better then my old speakers. But not really sure yet seeing as had to reorder brackets for rear speakers.

It has great full sound, and amazing value, I used them to replace the crappy speakers that came with my Subary Legecy, the difference is night and day.

I wanted to upgrade the stock Ford speakers that came in my Transit Connect cargo van. These were a perfect fit. The wiring adapters provided made it a simple plug and play experience. You could spend more but were talking about a Ford van that came with AM/FM with 2 speakers in the doors.

Not that impressive for sound. Great looking and easy to install.

Bought these to replace worn out front door speakers on 2005 Camry. Comes with everything I need for an easy installation! Speakers sound loud n clear for the price!!!

Stunned! This was a simple, budget install in my uncle's car that had some rotted out speakers and a nonfunctional receiver. Put these in the Impala's dash and hooked them up to a JVC receiver. I was extremely impressed with the sound quality for the price!  For a 5.25" speaker, the bass was impressive on my uncle's Bob Seger CD. It's a 5.25" so it will never shake the rearview mirror but it was clear and punchy. The highs sounded great with that silk tweeter. Smooth and not screechy at all. With a light hand on the bass equalization, they can be turned up pretty loud with the 13 watts RMS coming out of the JVC. Rubber surrounds instead of foam or cloth. Silk tweeters instead of paper or other lower end materials. Poly cones instead of paper.  These are built well!    I ended up crossing these over at 100 hz with the JVC and letting the Kicker 6x9's handle the bass. But if you can only fit these, they'll still sound surprisingly good with full range.    I'm an audio snob and only run higher end equipment in my cars but I appreciate any install where someone took the time and effort to replace the factory junk. No, these aren't better than components or higher end speakers. What I think they are are budget unicorns.  These shine as stock speaker replacements and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone doing a budget install.

I ordered these to replace the stock front speakers in my 99 buick century.  The factory speakers were blown and I was just looking for a replacement.  What I received was a HUGE upgrade in quality.  They are surprisingly heavy in the bass department, which I appreciate, but perform extremely well in mid-range, to boot.  I cranked the treble to test the highs and I think they do a good job there too.  I'm extremely pleased with price for performance.  I have the stock head unit in the buick.  It has an equalizer that makes tuning pretty easy.   I don't experience any distortion whatsover until I connect my phone and crank the phone's volume to the max.  Then things get muddy.  I highly recommend these if you're looking for factory replacement like was... but I suspect that they are very good all around!  Just perfect speakers for the price!

only one screw hole lined up but with three self-tapping screws everything was secured properly. In total I replaced 4 base speakers ... Every one of my original speakers was missing the connection from the cone to the speaker frame ... after 20 years it had turned to dust ...it amazes me that I got any sound out of the old speakers...What a difference!! Thanks.

Good replacement for the old tired factory speakers. Good clean sound being pushed by an aftermarket Kenwood radio.

These sound great. 1996 Toyota Tacoma standard cab. My only regret is I should have gone with the larger Terminator6, it seems those fit, and I thing the factory speaker was a 6 1/2". Still, these things sound great in every way compared to the factory speakers, and especially the blown out one. These are worthy.

Look, they're a sub $40 pair of speakers. Nobody is going to mistake you for an audiophile. That said they fit in the rear doors of my beater and make a pleasant sound, completely unlike the dry rotted factory speakers in there before. As a rear channel they work well since they are a little base heavy. If you're looking to replace some blown speakers and you're going to be running them off of the head unit and not amp them separately, then these do the job well at a reasonable cost point. I'm giving them 5 stars because they exceed my expectations for an inexpensive speaker.

Fit and sound great in my Jeep Wrangler TJ.  Easy install with Crutchfield supplied mounting brackets.  5 1/4" speakers replaced 4" x 6".

Great speaker and purchased multiple set for my 2006 Nissan Altima and 2003 Honda CRV. Sound is awesome using a stock unit or aftermarket amp when upgrading speakers. Cannot go wrong for a budget audio build.

Clear performance boost even before upgrading my amp

Nothing special.  I bought a Kenwood stereo with 22 amp RMS to drive these speakers and they sound ok.  Maybe with a small amp they could produce more but for the price they're not bad.

Great sound from such small speakers. Used them to replace OEM 04' GMC Sierra door speakers. Crutchfield also includes mounting brackets and sire adapters. Can't beat that for the price.

Didn't really fit, made brackets that worked out well, speaker quality is exactly what I expected given the reasonable price.  Plenty good.

So far so good. Replaced the 6x8 Ford Explorer, '02' front door speakers.  Excellent upgrade. Nice crisp highs with some solid definition from the low end woofer.  Looking forward to replacing the dash radio so that I can more audio tone options than (Bass/Treble) in the factory radio.

Great little speaker & has a 2 year warranty! These were installed in the back doors of a 2017 tundra crewmax.  They do not distort even at high volume. I've always been an MTX fan, these do not disappoint.

The speaker is great for the price and sounds great. Th only issue is the speaker doesn't sit flush in the opening of a '03 Volvo S40. It will require spacer rings. I ended up cutting the frame of the original speaker to retrofit the speaker into the door.

I have this installed in a Dodge Ram 1500 single cab. The sound is a lot better than the factory speakers. Quality speakers for the price! Love them!

These sound much better than the oem speakers, even using the oem head unit. Good fit in a 98 Ram single cab, screws holes are tight but no drilling needed. Get the speaker baffles if these are going in the rear.

For the price are good option, you will get distortion after certain level of volume, it looks doesn't handle to much load even it said 35 Watts, 5 more than the others model at the same price.  Since if for an old car, it will do the work, and I am using only the front ones, I just order the rear ones Pioneer to verify if I can get more volume (Loud) with both sides working , rear and front. Now is working these ones at the front.

My son, bless him, got his hands on some LARGE speakers for the door in his truck.  Of course, the windows wouldn't go down all the way and when I asked him where the original speakers were (some I bought last year from Crutchfield) he didn't know.  I am selling the truck and needed some that fit.  These fit as they are supposed to.  Now, the windows go all the way down like they should.  As for how they sound, good enough for me but not good enough for him but in a couple days, it won't matter.  Maybe the new owner will buy some new speakers from you guys.

Replaced worn out speakers with the MTX terminator5's. The sound is awesome and with installation instructions and the right wiring harnesses installation was a breeze.

I just installed these in my Tahoe. I knew one of the factory speakers was inoperative but did not know the other front door speaker was as bad as it was. These really sound good! It's not the boom boom bass sound we have all heard but just a good full sound which is much better than stock......I can wait to install the rear door speakers next. I can not imagine how god it will sound then
