These speakers are great excellent sound. They fit right in to replace the front speakers on my 1968 Corvette

No speaker is perfect and sound is subjective. If you use Crutchfield's comparison tool, you'll find that these affordable speakers have a smoother frequency response and rolled off high frequency response akin to many top tier and highest priced brands. These don't have harsh or even accentuated sparking highs. I find this makes them easy to EQ and effective in vehicles.         The construction is quality without over the top or gimmicky cone or surround treatments on other brands. They do have a red cone, so there is that ...        For a coaxial speaker, you should be pleased. Admit it, you're going to EQ your speakers anyway. I just wish these had a pivoting tweeter since almost all vehicles have less than ideal speaker placement. But that is a universal issue.

These are outstanding speakers. They provide great highs good mid bass for my rear column area of my truck. I would definitely recommend these for any 4/6 speaker replacement.

Great speakers at a great price. I put them in my Wrangler TJ and they made a huge difference. I can't max them out because it will run me out and the sound is crystal clear all the way up.

These are really good for the money, was a nice fit to the doors that i installed them in. MTX has always been a really good choice for me. The sound is a very good quality they work really well with just the power from the head unit.

Even though Crutchfield says they don't fit 2002 Sonoma/S10 dash, they fit perfect with no modification needed.        Good sound at a great price

The fit was perfect for replacing my old speakers in my 2004 Silverado rear doors.

Installed in my 99 GMC Jimmy. They sound really good off the stock head unit. They are a little too bassy for dash speakers, will add bass filters down the road. The foam on one is starting to pull off already after 2 days. Will see how long they last.

Sound quality is decent for it's price.  There isnt much bass but the highs are decently recieved through the speakers.

Installed in the dash positions in an 01 S10. Fit perfectly and the grills sit flush. Will definitely handle good, CLEAN power but should definitely crossover at 200+ hz. Have mine crossed at 200hz and they easily handle the 80wpc rms my amplifier delivers. Some descriptions say the tweeter is mylar or silk, my set is silk. Detailed sound and a warm midrange. Excellent speaker, sound and power handling of set up and used correctly.

Solid sound

I liked the sound quality for the price. Me and my son put a mtx set of 12s in his truck the bass is outstanding the factory speakers couldn't hang. I ordered these up to match his setup and now I can hear what he's listening to down the road not just bass lol

Bought these as an upgrade to the speakers in the dash of my Jeep Wrangler..  Easy install, Easy wiring and plate combo that was added as a suggested add on. also got the foam cups, and in less than 30 minutes I had way better and clearer sound.  Great little speaker for the price, and very happy with my purchase, paired these with some 6.5 speakers in the back, and the New JVC wireless CarPlay Deck, and now my aging Jeep feels brand new again.  Thanks Crutchfield for such hands on service.

Great factory replacement

These are a replacement for blown 20+ year old speakers in my son's car. They are installed on the lower front door. Price was very reasonable and they sound good. Plenty of bass. At high volumes there's a little distortion but I don't think those volumes are for normal listening. Are there better speakers? I'm sure there are. But for the application, my son's daily driver that he drives to school and work, they work great. They come with screws, clips, and pigtails for the terminals. No additional hardware was required other than butt connectors.

Excellent speaker for the price.  I installed these in my 2005 Chevy Silverado WT.  I have the standard (non-crew cab) 2 door cab on my truck and these fit perfectly into the slots of the factory speakers.  I also purchased the speaker baffles for these that fit into the same slot.  The baffles protect the speaker and give the sound some extra depth.  Installation was pretty easy but please note that you will have to drill 4 holes to mount these because the factory speakers simply clip into the hole.  Drilling is easy enough if you mark the holes in advance and use a 1/8" bit.  You can use a couple of the supplied nut clips to secure the screws or just use the screws alone.  Both options work.  Sound quality is excellent.

They sound great at a very reasonable price.  These are replacements for the dash speakers in my 1980 Corvette.  I had to improvise a mounting clip for one tab, but other wise, they fit with no problem.

Good sound, nice replacement for worn out OEM speakers.    I had a couple of rattling OEM speakers in my old farm truck.  The stock AM/FM head unit was working fine and I needed decent set of budget speakers to go in the B-pillars.  We're not talking audiophile quality....heck, maybe they are capable of that but not from the 25 year old stock stereo.  If this were my daily driver or I was putting some money into a new head unit, maybe I would have gotten something else, but for a truck that I only use for trips to the lumber yard or to haul mulch or firewood, these are just fine.   All about bang for my buck.  The fit was good.  I ended up drilling 4 pilot holes in the pillars and mounting with self-tapping sheet metal screws.  Worked just fine.  No problems with clearance.

Way better then stock but not amazing but they will do until I can get better ones and they fit good in my 2006 Chevy Silverado regular cab super easy install just used some self tapping screws to get it snug

I used them in my 84 Porsche 944 they work perfectly sound Cristal clear and after a week they start to get a deeper bass

These were purchased to replace the rear, B-pillar, OEM speakers in a 2002 Silverado WT.   I had to drill new mounting holes, but I knew that in advance.  They sound WAY better than the OEM speakers and the price was reasonable.  They rattle a bit if the bass is too high, but it is an old truck for my kid to drive and for the price they are perfect. The install connectors Crutchfield supplied plugged into the factory harness perfectly and had the correct terminals to attach to the speakers.  Overall, I'd recommend these as an economical replacement for OEM speakers.

Sound great in my 1998 Jeep TJ. Probably better than the old ones. Hard to tell how good they are as it is a Jeep, so there is a lot of noise to compete with, but I can really crank them up. The included hardware and instructions were perfect.

Not good for lows but they are better than the factory speakers in my GMC 1500.

Great sound, had to cut a small amount of metal in the rear deck so basket could slide down into factory cutout.

Sound pretty good but not as much bass as the 6 1/2 mtx speakers. Would probably be better with a amp. They fit good in my 05 silverado ext cab.
