    If youre wanting to impress your friends, this isnt the speaker for you. While it is better then the 8" bass tube by MTX, this is going to offer you a low end. I'm an audiophile so I don't need to be heard 2 blocks away. I have other cars with systems like that!! LOL Its going to deliver low end but nothing more than that! Being a self contained unit (amp and speaker) it a pretty easy install too.

    For a little 8”, this little sub bumps pretty nicely. Not dual 12”s but definitely shakes my car and once amp is dialed in, hits pretty solidly. Easy install in my 2010 Mazda CX-7 (no Bose). Used 8 gauge wire for power and ground, used a quick disconnect plug, plus RCAs and the remote wire from head unit. Box is heavy enough, put it on an anti slip rug mat and it stays put in the back. Not too big, square foot’ish, easy to remove to make space when needed.

    This has got to be one of the best deals out there! Paid $170 for it. Brand name sub and built in amp. Both MTX. Does not take up much space and it hits! Already recommended it to a few buddies.

    I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SUB AND ALL IT CAN DO. I'VE HAD KICKER, DIAMOND AUDIO D3 SERIES, ALPINE, THESE ARE INSANE FOR THE VALUE.

    For such a small subwoofer
    For such a small subwoofer I still can't get over the sound. It's as loud as any 12-inch subwoofer I've ever had. MTX is where it's at and Sonic Electronix was fast, professional, and very helpful!

    Little Bump
    This eight gives a nice additional bass note. Deep but not overwhelming.If you are looking to "beat down the block", this is not the one. But if you want to add a deep tone to your interior sound, you got it. Perfect for me.

    Excellent sub for pickups
