Good enough for a beginner that's not looking for competition style bass. Gives you what you pay for. Sounds good to me

So far so good was a little worried by the other reviews of this product but install was easy and the results are better than perfect.

Great sub and amp. Was really excited because the fitment program said it would fit. It didn't so I had to return it and get a different sub and amp that would fit.

If you want some extra bump in the truck I, HIGHLY recommend this package. It has nice deep bass with clear sound. Nothing that would tear your car apart but still nice to where it gives your car a nice bassy vibration. It's cheap and it sounds good for some 10's. Wired up correctly and tune to the right sound specs of your car and it sounds amazing. Free shipping and came in 3 days??

Decent abilities for the money.  Clearly much cheaper then the competition but at a cost. If you're looking for a LARGE encloser with modest to 'kind of' exciting base gains then this is the system.  Time will tell on how the AMP holds up, Gain had to be set pretty high and Base Boost just about maxed out to get the response.  The install was paired with a Sony XAV-AX4000 which seems to be a good pairing for this encloser.

Good price and good for a starter kit. Just know the amp will eventually die. Mine lasted just about 3 years before it died tho so it's not too bad.

Looks amazing. I bet it sounds so CLEAN!! Ohh come on Santa Claus.. Look forward into getting this or something very similar.

Good product

The install was easy, sound is good. The only thing I don't like is there is no mounting hardware for the box. I believe it's a good product.

Ordering process wasnintuitive and easy.  Shipping was very fast, even over the holiday!  The product itself sounds amazing!  My 17 old son and I installed it together with no issues.  He is blown away by the sound.  FYI- The amp will need tuned to fit your sound preferences.  This is a really good set for price!  I recommend it 100%!

Seems Great - Arrived quickly, but without installation instructions for my Vehicle (they were supposed to be included).  Fortunately, I am skilled enough to get it installed.

Very good beginner sub. Just a little bit smelly.

Don't know much about car audio so this was my first time working with this. Very easy to install , didn't have that smell that most people talked about , seems good for the price , came in a day earlier. Overall good product would recommend if your new like me to installing your own things, just be sure to follow crutchfield YouTube videos for installing. And waiting to see how it is in the long run.

I'd give it three and a half, hits hard sounds good in my 04 mercury grand marquis. It's good for a start but if you have the money buy something better. FYI does not come with wiring kit(go get one at Walmart). Overall it's good but like I said if you got more money spend it. :)

You can't beat this product for the price. I mean, you can barely buy a box for the price you get here for it all. It sounds pretty good also. I had it installed to a factory radio in a 2022 Honda Accord, and it improves the sound greatly.

More than I expected for the price you cant beat it. If youre on a budget and want to add bass this is the way to go!

Perfect subs for beginners in the hobby, hits really hard and is amazing for the price. I personally have not had problems with overheating but I don't drive very far. It was amazing to be able to have a package with  both a sub and an amp. I have bought a 4 gauge wire kit off another retailer and it works amazing. These are the first subwoofers and amp that I have installed/used.

Is a great product ive had it for a year the bass hits really well my one complaint is the amp overheats really easy and stays shut off for a good 10 minutes other then that no complaints

Arrived on time and they sound awesome! I installed them myself with the simple instructions provided.

Still breaking it in but couldn't be more happier,  for the price it's the best value out there,  and of course having Crutchfield on your side is priceless. After break in process l will start fine tuning the amplifier,  but what little l've turned the volume up l'am already impressed. Installation was very easy coming from someone that doesn't do this at all. The quality of this package is top notch, and the package it was shipped in also was A+!.Will update performance as time goes on but don't hesitate on this purchase you want regret it!

Easy setup with a monstrous sound.  Keep it easy and just add on the discount ted amp wiring kit.  Just make sure you read the included wires so you do not come up short.

Huge smile on my son's face when this thing lit off.  Very nice quality and amp settings in the directions were spot on.

This bass package was just the right price for my daughters car.  Overall the sound is fairly good and installation was easy, however I would say the amp is a little under-powered, if you are looking for bass that rattles your neighbors windows you will want more power.  You will definitely need some other parts to complete the install such as RCA cables etc.          My daughter is very happy with the sub kit and it isn't so loud it annoys the neighborhood so perfect in my book.

Good combo

Let me start by saying that I'm 36 with two kids. I have had some kind system in every car I've owned. Some of witch I've spent lots of money on. For the past 10 years or more I've had 12's so naturally I was a little apprehensive  about buying 10's again. After having this package in my car for a couple of days I have to say I'm pleasantly impressed. This package proves the bump when I want it. When the kids are in car i can keep the volume at a moderate level and just enough bump to know they are there or crank them up. I'm probably most impressed by the clarity  at both levels. Shipping was fast , I ordered on a Sunday night and had them by Tuesday. All round very happy

I was looking for something inexpensive for my daughters Sentra and found this.  I purchased this imagining that for $200 I would get low end that was just good enough for a 17 year old and the endless Tik Tok music, but this really surprised me!  I have one JL10 in my truck, and while this isn't as precise it is loud with better sound quality than you would expect at this price point.  If you are looking to spend as little as possible and are not seeking precise replication of every note below 100hz, pull the trigger on this.

Bought this package last 2016 it still working great but not that great I guess. So I decided to make my own modifications on the subwoofers. Inside you will see the each speaker is wired to 4 ohms. What I did was I gutted that f*cker rewired the speakers into 2 ohm. Since I have a monoblock amp 2 ohm capable at higher rms. Now It pounds alot harder.

Just as described, sounds awesome and came with easy to follow directions!

I bought this 2 years ago and i still have it and its running like a champ bass is on point.

1992 Chevy s-10 blazer 4 dr   Using kenwood older stereo  This box fits perfect with inside FULLSIZE spare tire adds Thump and louder sound .I listen to everything except Rap sounds great for the money !  Also bought wiring kit would have thought speaker wires would be included .    All is good used old extension cord as speaker wire lol

Purchased this product back in November of 2014. Installed it with an aftermarket Kenwood deck and 2 pairs of Polk Audio 6 1/2" in front and rear doors of a 2005 GMC Sierra. Let me tell you; the system Bumps!!!!!. A lot of bang / bump for the buck. Completed install following included instructions thanks to Crutchfield :). I been experimenting with the convenient output (Bass Level) controls on the Amp. Can't run it wide open, this puppy will run you out!!.  It's mounted on the bed wall of my truck behind the seat so it gets plenty of vento. Never clipped, cut out or nothing in almost 3 years and I have put it to the test. This perfect match you can't kill. I'm so impressed  / satisfied with this package that I swapped everything over to my 2012 GMC Sierra I just purchased. Ordered the OnStar,Steering wheel  and wire harness adapter compatible with the newer truck. Still using my Kenwood KDC X597 head unit, up and running in a day with the Boomin System. Everything works as advertised.    Mad heads turn especially when I'm rockin some old School Hip Hop that cat's haven't heard like this before.     PHENONMENAL THXS CRUTCHFIELD 1

Amazing. Words can't describe how good this sounds. Perfect price, perfect bass and fits perfectly in my trunk. Crutchfield is my go to for car audio. Truly amazing. Thank you to the entire team for yet another awesome experience. This package is the best for your first system. Have not had any trouble with the amp like others have said. It's all in where you mount it in the trunk. This package does not make my trunk rattle, but has enough base to feel it inside of the car. This is a MUST have.

This is exactly what I was wanting in a system. It hits and vibrates everything. I call it ditty Kong. It's not going to make me deaf in a year like some previous systems I've had. But I enjoy and love it.

I have had many subs from MTX . I have had many different subs in the 20+ years I have been installing and listening to Car Audio . I sold my old subs and amp , cause I was going to upgrade to something else . I do this every three or four years . Anyway I forgot how bad it was not to have subs and started to miss sub bass on my drives and in my favorite music . So I took a chance on these , just as a quick replacement without breaking the bank , until I decided what subs and amp I was going to get . Well let me say this combo package blew me away . I only took a chance on it because I had some Magnum subs back in like 1994 and I liked the way they sounded . Yes I have heard just about everything and have had every brand at one time or another . But as I was saying , this package really sounds awesome for this price . It,s crazy . I have them in a Lincoln Town Car  and they have a very tight sound . Crossed over at 160hz , they don't shake me to death and they sound ten times louder than you would think , being just two ten inch in a small box . I usually don't go for ported enclosures either . Always a sealed enclosure guy . But I got them hooked up and have been listening to them for about 4 months now and I'm not sure I'm going to change them for a while . So, what went from "a bargain sub system" just to get by" until I decided on new subs and amp , has become "a set of subs and amp that I'm hesitant to change" . Keep in mind these subs will not knock your head off . But they are loud and will shake the mirrors and your rear end . But I mostly buy subs for sound quality and this " just to fill in , until I figure out what is going in for real " . Became " They sound so good , I don't want to change them " Sub and Amp in my car . So hats off to MTX for some seriously cheap sound quality . Only thing is , I have seen a few bad reviews here and there around the net . But I believe it's because of install problems . If you decide on this package , I would suggest adding a capacitor and a really good ground close to the amp . I say this because in my  Lincoln Town Car the Amp dimmed the headlights when playing at louder volumes . This problem became less apparent after I ran a shorter ground to the amp "  a 5 inch ground from an 18" long ground . But the problem completely went away after adding a cap . Some vehicles won't have this problem . I also have the subs firing toward the tail lights in the trunk . They seem to have better detail firing into the trunk than they do firing toward the cabin . If I had these in my mustang GT they probably would knock my head off , but I can't believe how loud and detailed they are in this giant Town Car . I did remove the factory sub enclosure from the rear deck of the Town Car so there would be a good bit of space in the back dash for sound to come through into the cabin . But this is one of the best and cheapest sub kits I have ever heard and I'm not sure how they can make and sell it for this price . It just kills me how it can sound as good as something that I would put a lot of time and research into . Cause I have never done the bass package thing , I always thought it was just for getting you by until you decided on a real sub and amp . LOL . I have been proven wrong BIG TIME ! Thanks , if you read my whole review , then you really care about your sound . MTX, you have really blown my mind with this package .

I got them about for weeks ago and people say they don't hit hard but they do in my car and I drive one of the longest cars they make and they're in the back they sound fantastic I strongly suggest that you buy them if your on a budget like I was for everything installation was 180 so my overall spending was 320 approximately
